spiritual truth
is conferred to youth,
by the age of nine
in a nursery rhyme,
yet gray-haired men
waddle in sin,
searching for the divine.
the quantum realm
is instinctively found
by children everyday.
they close their eyes
run and hide,
creating as they play.
Buddha reduced
virtues of eight
down to one,
for this we hail him great.
contrived disguise
redirects the eyes
obscuring perception
from the wise.
