acQuiescent jOy

a falcon descended
and forty-four years extended

the summer of Chayton arrived in spring
like Mars, an uncommon thing,
not in the conventional sense
but rather, pain and scars
– most intense.

until dawn, fatigue we fight
despite bruised bonds
Chayton rules the night

field of trees loom crescent moon
fluttering leaves embracing noon
such ocean waves driven of wind
perfectly synchronized reflection of light
rivaled the stars that clear vernal night
affably floating in a sea of blue
upon pure skies with puffs of cotton passing through

how indifferent and magnificent you are.

sing my soul O’ morning sun,
winter’s cleanse fresh season spun

let spring’s sprout, unfold the way
that creatures bloom on full display

what joy of touch upon my skin
no past be present, nor tomorrows sin

we’ve danced together through eternal time
i’ve restored your minutes, unveil my shine

permit us trundle broader reality
continue our waltz through immortality

we unite again before the divide
without place, no time, together abide

I’ve kept my word — i remembered

finiShed

a sound, a seed
a wave, a weed

a breath, a blink
a sliver of zinc
a pulse
a child
the thoughts we think

All things emerge from sacred silence, within the absolute blackness there is light –  life. Between everything there is space undivided, in that space lives the undecided, everything is complete. In this moment life is perfect. If not now, when. Joy and peace are extensions from within. One man chase dreams of external things, the other takes pleasure within. An inhaled breath amid the chill of winter as the southern sun warms my face, on a clear noonday staring through an open window from above; I remember myself and why.

flow through the day like tai chi
no thought no mind
no effort no time
separate ocean from sea

with all things, blend
enjoy good health
still thyself
move from within

keep silent and shout
rise sleep
laugh and weep
breath in breath out

cherish friends relish solitude
practice fasting enjoy food
be naughty be good
stand where nothing stood

withdraw give
die and live
